Privacy Inquiries: privacy@adv-intel.com

1. Overview & Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how KHEPRI RISING LLC, operating as ADV-Intel ("ADV-Intel," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and discloses information through adv-intel.com and related services (the "Website").

It covers website visitors, registered account users, individuals who contact us, and information about individuals included in our public-records database.

Questions & Privacy Requests

Questions, requests, or privacy concerns may be sent directly to our privacy team at privacy@adv-intel.com.

2. Information You Provide

When you create an account on the Website, we collect the name, email address, and authentication credentials you provide. If you subscribe to any current or future paid services, plans, or premium features, our authorized third-party payment processors collect the necessary billing and transaction details (we do not directly store full credit or debit card numbers on our servers). When you contact us or submit a correction or privacy request, we collect your contact details, the content of your message, and information reasonably needed to understand or verify your request.

Sensitive Information Notice: Please do not send Social Security numbers, bank account credentials, driver's license numbers, or other sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your inquiry or request.

3. Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Website, we and our service providers may collect technical and usage information, including:

  • Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate geographic location (at state or metropolitan level);
  • Browser type, version, device model, and operating system information;
  • Referring pages, exit pages, search queries entered, and pages visited;
  • Interactions with Website features, filters, and access timestamps.

We use cookies and similar technologies for Website operation, security, session management, and analytics. The information collected depends on the features you use, your browser settings, and the technologies enabled on the Website.

4. Information from Public Filings

ADV-Intel organizes and presents data obtained from publicly available regulatory filings, specifically SEC Form ADV disclosures and related public records published by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) concerning Registered Investment Advisers (RIA), Exempt Reporting Advisers (ERA), private funds, and affiliated service providers.

These public regulatory records may include individuals' professional names, executive roles, direct or indirect ownership percentages, and business contact information (such as principal office addresses, telephone numbers, and official business websites). We use this public data to provide searchable profiles, geographic analytics, database exports, and market intelligence to Website users.

Public Filings vs. User Data

Public filing information is distinct from the private account and usage information we collect about Website users. Public availability does not mean that every privacy law treats every record the same way.

If you believe a database record is inaccurate or raises a privacy concern, please contact us at privacy@adv-intel.com with the specific record URL and an explanation of the issue. Please note that substantive corrections to underlying SEC Form ADV filings must also be submitted to the filing entity or the relevant regulatory authority (such as FINRA or the SEC IARD system).

5. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and enhance the Website;
  • Create and administer user accounts, subscriptions, billing, and verify registration;
  • Provide search functionality, manager profiles, geographic heatmaps, and downloadable exports;
  • Understand Website traffic patterns and optimize system performance;
  • Respond to user communications, support tickets, and privacy inquiries;
  • Investigate errors, unauthorized access, and abusive automated scraping;
  • Protect the security and integrity of the Website and its users; and
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and reporting obligations.

We may also use information for other specific purposes explained at the time of collection or with your explicit consent where required by law.

6. Google Analytics, Cookies & Tracking Signals

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors engage with the Website. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers to measure website activity, page views, and device characteristics. This information is transmitted to and processed by Google under its applicable terms and privacy policies.

To learn more about Google's practices, visit How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Managing Cookies & Opt-Outs:

  • Browser Controls: You can configure your browser to reject, restrict, or delete cookies. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent you from logging into your account or accessing certain authenticated features.
  • Google Analytics Opt-Out: Google provides a free Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on for supported desktop browsers. Installing this add-on prevents Google Analytics from recording your visits.

Do Not Track (DNT) & Global Privacy Control (GPC):
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signals to websites. Because there is currently no uniform industry standard for how web applications should respond to DNT signals, our Website does not alter its technical operation upon receiving a general DNT signal. However, ADV-Intel does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we honor applicable legally recognized statutory opt-out signals where required by governing law.

7. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose user, contact, and technical usage information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party service providers that assist with website hosting, cloud infrastructure, database maintenance, security monitoring, email delivery, and analytics (including Google Analytics as described above). These providers have access to information only as necessary to perform their functions on our behalf.
  • Legal Compliance & Safety: We may disclose information if we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, subpoenas, or legal processes; enforce our terms; protect the rights, property, or safety of ADV-Intel, our users, or the public; or investigate security incidents or fraud.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a proposed or completed corporate reorganization, merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • With Your Consent: We may disclose information for any other purpose with your consent or at your direction.
Paid & Free Services — Strict No-Sale Commitment

While certain features of the Website are provided free of charge and other advanced or premium services may be offered as paid subscriptions, we never sell your personal information or user data. We do not sell personal data, database access credentials, or user information to third parties, data brokers, or advertisers for monetary consideration, nor do we share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising under California (CCPA/CPRA) or other U.S. state privacy statutes.

8. Retention and Security

We retain personal information for the period reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, taking into account account status, legitimate business needs, security and fraud prevention, recordkeeping requirements, and the establishment or defense of legal claims.

Public SEC Form ADV filing records are retained as historical regulatory records in accordance with standard public-records practice and historical transparency. System backup copies are overwritten on standard automated retention cycles, subject to legal requirements.

We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is completely secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and should notify us immediately at privacy@adv-intel.com if you suspect unauthorized activity.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or other states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws), you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • Right to Know / Access: The right to confirm whether we process your personal data and obtain a copy of the specific personal information we have collected;
  • Right to Correction: The right to request correction of inaccurate personal information in your account;
  • Right to Deletion: The right to request deletion of personal information you provided to us;
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your statutory privacy rights.

How to Submit a Request or Appeal:
You do not need to create an account to exercise your privacy rights. To submit a request, email privacy@adv-intel.com describing your request. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity or authority before processing your request. Where permitted by law, you may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf.

Certain statutory exceptions apply, including exemptions for officially published public regulatory filings, necessary security logging, and legal claims. If we deny your request and applicable law provides a right of appeal, you may submit an appeal by emailing privacy@adv-intel.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal".

10. Third-Party Websites and International Processing

The Website contains links to external websites, including official SEC IAPD records, investment adviser websites, social media accounts, and interactive map tiles (such as Google Maps or Carto). These third-party services operate independently and have their own privacy practices and terms. We encourage you to review their respective privacy notices before interacting with them.

Information collected through the Website may be stored and processed in the United States and other countries where our cloud hosting providers operate. If you access the Website from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed under U.S. data protection laws.

11. Children's Privacy

The Website is designed exclusively for professional financial research, academic analysis, and market intelligence. It is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has submitted personal information through our registration or contact forms, please contact us at privacy@adv-intel.com so we can promptly investigate and delete the data.

12. Policy Changes and Contact Information

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our services, regulatory requirements, or data practices. The "Effective date" at the top of this document indicates when the policy was last revised. When we make material changes, we will post an updated version on this page and update the effective date.
